TransPacket has patented, and developed the FUSION technology, a unique solution for deterministic Ethernet that provides low and fixed latency Ethernet switching. The FUSION networking technique is developed from integrated hybrid optical networking (IHON) research, combining circuit and packet switching with the best properties from each of the techniques enabling concurrent transport of both time-sensitive, and non time-sensitive services over a packet based network.
